The cold January wind is upon us. Time to change the seasons around in the store. We have quite a few new things in store for 2013! The Art department is still growing, the expansion of the NFL department is also being worked on. Some really cool floral containers will be added to the floral department. We will be moving a few things around to better serv our customers and the new merchandise in the department. I'll be headed to trade shows to purchase new items for Fall & Christmas 2013, wish me luck!

It's been a whirl wind that last month. We still a tweaking the Art dept. We added Windsor Newton Artist Oils, Water colors! Saying Bye Bye to Holbien artist paints, the pricing has jumped to high for my liking. With the Windsor Newton line, I think we'll be able to offer more in the way of special offers. Sorry for the mess in the department until we finish the reset!

  Artist Brushes - We currently carry the Simply Simmons line in both open stock and sets. That does a great job of covering the value and student needs. Now on to the artist brushes. We have put a survey on Facebook on "Ben Franklin Crafts Easton" to help us to help you. What are you looking for, what brands to you prefer? Your help is needed so we can make a good decision on bringing in the rite product for our artists!

   Sitting at the breakfest table this morning, I realized how crazy a time of year July is for me and my business. Full with trade shows, buying trips, department changes, and planning the next season! We are not part of a large conglomerate or corporation. All the buying set-up and displays are done here at store level. The average person doesn't see what goes on behind the scenes, as respect to the buying aspect. I have been very fortunate to be able to stay on top of trends and keep the merchandise looking fresh from season to season. I thank my staff & most of all our customers for your patronage. We work very hard to have a great place to shop and smiling faces to help! 

  

   We have a large selection of clearance items, a kind of inside sidewalk sale! We have to make room for Fall, Halloween & yes Christmas. Stop in and take advantage of some geat deals.
